Propane Capacity Check
Check whether the propane the driver is carrying fits in the available room across your tanks.
Room available
Add tank details to calculate.
Saved sites
Save a customer’s tank list and delivery notes. Loading a site clears old gauge readings and the previous truck load so you can enter fresh values.

Help improve tank projections
Optionally share readings taken right after a delivery. Submissions help us study whether pipeline order affects the tank split. They do not change your projection automatically.
Help improve the app
Optionally share basic counts of app opens and feature use. No tank readings, site details, account, or device identifier are included. Netlify may receive technical request data, such as an IP address.
Sharing starts only after you switch this on. Turn it off at any time.Truck GVW estimate
Estimate gross vehicle weight from the truck weight without its propane load and the gallons being carried.
Planning limit
Compare available room against this percentage of tank water capacity.
Calculation breakdown
Field reference
Water capacity (WC)
Use the tank’s marked or manufacturer-listed water capacity in gallons. This is the tank’s water volume, not its propane fill amount.
Current gauge
Enter the tank’s liquid-level gauge reading as a percentage from 0 to 100.
Approx. per-tank ending level
This uses a room-based split of the load. The actual amount delivered to each tank is unknown, so a closer per-tank projection needs a measured or known split. Enter today’s gauge readings; another driver may have serviced the site. Monitor each gauge while unloading.
Planning estimate
Estimated current gallons = WC × gauge %. Room to limit = WC × (planning limit − gauge %) ÷ 100. The app adds each tank’s nonnegative room and compares that total with the truck load.
